Citizens are allowed to donate up to $3,300 to a candidate's Political Action Committee (PAC) – My committee is “Citizens for Adam Nicholas Paul”

A “Super PAC” on the other hand is a whole different ballgame.  Without limits on amounts of what they may raise form both individuals and organizations.  “Super PACs” aren't run by the candidate nor their committee and must not coordinate with either.  However, they may do anything in their power to get a candidate elected, anything, well, pretty much anything.  Thank you Citizens United!
